These terms cover your use of the Excellence Is a Habit app and this website. Using either means you accept them. If you do not, do not use them.

Your licence

You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, on the terms Apple sets for apps distributed through the App Store. The app and its source remain the property of its developer; the licence does not transfer ownership of anything.

Your data is yours

Everything you put into the app belongs to you. The developer claims no rights over it and, as described in the privacy policy, has no access to it. Keeping your own backups is your responsibility — iCloud sync is a convenience, not a backup service.

What you may not do

Do not reverse engineer, decompile or redistribute the app, except where the law says you may regardless of this clause. Do not use it to break the law.

The URL scheme

The excellence:// URL scheme is documented so that other tools can drive the app. It may change between versions. Anything you build on it, you build at your own risk, and you are responsible for what your scripts do to your data.

No warranty

The app is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. It is not medical, health or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for any of those.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of your use of the app or this site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

Changes and termination

These terms may change; the date at the top will change with them, and continuing to use the app means accepting the new version. Your licence ends if you stop complying with these terms, and you can end it at any time by deleting the app.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the developer's place of residence, without regard to conflict of law rules.
